Michael Truscott Wins at Spring Lake; Jesse Aho Heads West
Michael had a great weekend picking up a NASCAR sanctioned BMod victory on Friday night at the Spring Lake Speedway in Unity, Wi after running third in his heat and starting on the outside of the front row and running away with the main, and then coming home a very strong 2nd in the Eric Herbison Memorial at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI on Saturday night. Michael won his heat from the pole at the Herbison Memorial and then redrew the outside of the front row. A thrilling battle between polesitter Mitch Weiss and eventual winner Jason VandeKamp throughout the entire 30-lapper saw Michael come home a solid second in the main event.
Jesse went on a Western tour this past weekend and competed at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN on Thursday night, placing a solid 2nd in the main event after starting outside of row 1. Friday night was a trip to the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND and after a heat race victory, Jesse ran from his sixth starting spot to a very solid 3rd place finish in the main event and then Saturday, the team made the trek back to the ABC Raceway in Ashland, WI, where Jesse raced from 8th to 3rd in his heat race and then came home with a 9th place finish in the night's main event.
