Truscott Lands Top 5 Finish in Midwest Mod at Rice Lake

Michael was back in action this past weekend in a pair of events. After Friday night's rainout, he made the trip to the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, Wi on Saturday night with both cards and came away with a pair of top ten finishes. In the Midwest Modified, he had troubles in the heat race and did not finish, which forced him to start 11th in the night's b-main. He stormed through and won the b, putting him 17th in the feature lineup, which he went on to slice his way forward to a 4th place finish. In the Modified, fresh off of his first career win the week before, he ran 3rd in his heat race after starting 6th and then came home ninth in the final feature rundown. Sunday night, he left the Midwest Modified at home and brought the Modified to the Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, WI and ran third in his heat race and again third in the main, wrapping up a solid weekend for his LLR Motorsports team.
